FILM: A LITTLE DEATH // 2014

Amusingly, after watching this, the poster actually made sense. I didn’t really know anything about this and I’m glad I didn’t. This film is about unusual fetishes & sex fantasies, but at the same time, it’s about opening up to that significant other about it.

They’re all displayed as different mini-stories but the one I screen captured below is my personal favorite. It’s about a man who is deaf & mute, but wants to experience phone sex. Don’t want to give too much away, but it was a good film.

FILM: BACHEHA-YE ASEMAN // 1997

Here’s the thing about most of the Iranian film I’ve watched, they’re all real. They’ll make you want to jump through the screen & hug these actors/actresses into a state of ok-ness.

Not to mention the beautiful (natural) colors in almost all the frames.. This was a joy to watch and the kids were brilliant.

FILM: HAUSU // 1977

This film wasn’t scary, if anything it was actually humerous in its odd way. What I really appreciated was the art & twisted ideas they were trying to pull-off but ended up with beautiful video-collaging.
